Dr. Orlando Llorente is a board-certified plastic surgeon who performs the full spectrum of aesthetic and reconstructive surgeries. In terms of aesthetics, He is an expert in breast surgery, fat transfer to the buttocks ( “Brazillian Butt Lift”) ,body contouring, liposuction, and abdominoplasty. Dr. Llorente graduated with honors from the University of Miami where he earned a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Chemistry. After graduating first in his class from Howard University College of Medicine, and trained in general surgery at the prestigious New York-Presbyterian Hospital/ Weill Cornell Medical Center, and at Washington Hospital Center. He followed this with four years of plastic surgery training at the University of Missouri-Columbia. He went on to have the honor of becoming the first Fellow in Aesthetic and Breast Reconstruction Surgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Llorente is currently the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Coral Gables Hospital, and an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. His research in plastic surgery, trauma surgery and bariatric surgery has been published in numerous scientific journals, and presented both nationally.
