About Nicholas G. Dipilla, DDS
Dr. Nicholas DiPilla believes dentistry chose him. He has always had two loves: a passion for art and an interest in medicine. Eventually he found a way to use both. He earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology at the University of Detroit Mercy, where he became focused on dentistry—realizing it would allow him to put all of his talents to good use. Dentistry, especially cosmetic dentistry, requires a unique blend of adroit and aesthetic skill. Once in dental school, Dr. Nicholas’s attraction to restorative and aesthetic dentistry grew. He honed his skills with the help of his uncle, Dr. Robert DiPilla. An aspiration to serve others led Dr. Nicholas to participate in two humanitarian trips to Samana, Dominican Republic, to provide oral healthcare, education, and appropriate dental services to the underserved community. During that time, the love and gratitude from everyone he encountered reassured his passion for dentistry. A member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Michigan Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum, Dr. Nicholas appreciates the importance of life-long learning in the wonderful field of dentistry.
