About Michael J. Dans, MD
Dr. Dans is a board certified dermatologist who enjoys practicing medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Dans is on staff at California Pacific Medical Center and also serves as a clinical instructor of dermatology at UCSF. Dr. Dans attended UC Davis and received a B.S. in biochemistry before obtaining a combined MD/PhD at New York University School of Medicine. He then completed a dermatology residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania before moving back to Northern California. Dr. Dans has published numerous scientific and medical articles and book chapters related to skin disease and treatment. Outside of the office, Dr. Dans enjoys skiing, hiking, and mountain biking with his family.
