Maryellen Werstine,​Co-owner of EquuSpirit Partnership, certified facilitator in Equine Guided Learning, professional life and leadership coach, Energy Leadership master practitioner and a Level 1 horseback archery instructor. ​Maryellen partners with horses to help empower individuals, groups and organizations towards sustainable change and enriched living. Maryellen has a life long passion for horses and has over 30 years of hands on experience with care, training and the management of horses within a myriad of different facilities. Maryellen shares a natural kinship with horses and has experienced first-hand the powerful connection that can help us learn, grow and heal. This has been her foundation, not only for being an advocate for the horse's well being but on the journey of self-mastery. Maryellen is also a nationally certified and licensed massage therapist of 20 years. She has a wide scope of practice in the health wellness field and successfully owns and operates Sommerset Wellness Studio in Boyne City, MI. She fuses her gifts of healing with coaching and facilitating to enable a deeper and more powerful experience for her clients. Maryellen is constantly expanding her knowledge base in the field of Equine Guided Learning (EGL) through conferences, seminars and classes related to her field. She prides herself in having crafted a broad base of experience that adds solid value to EquuSpirit Partnership. Maryellen has a passion for building healthy relationships and helping others overcome obstacles to achieve goals in all aspects of life, encompassing mind, body, and spirit.
