About Louise First, DMD
Dr First graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. She also has a residency from SIU in implant dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. First received numerous awards, including the Removable Prosthodontics Award, Pierre Fauchard Academy Award and was inducted into the National Dental Honor Society. A past President of the Greater St. Louis Dental Society, Dr. First sits on the American Dental Association's Committee on Dental Education and Licensure. She is also a Clinical Associate Professor at the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. First is a fellow of the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists. She is on the Peer Review Committee for the Greater St. Louis Dental Society as well as a delegate from St. Louis to the Missouri House of Delegates. Dr. First also sees patients from Donated Dental Services of Missouri. In her spare time, she enjoys sailing, golfing and playing with her granddaughter.
