About Lindsay P. Diaz, DDS
Hi! My name is Dr. Lindsay Diaz and I am one of the providers here at Family Dental Care Park Ridge. I received my doctorate of dental surgery from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2010. Prior to becoming a dentist, I practiced as a full time dental hygienist for three years and continued practicing throughout my dental education. I find having widespread knowledge of not only oral health but also expertise in periodontal health has helped me to be able to treat my patients more comprehensively. I am an active member of the American Dental Association, the llinois State Dental Association, and the Chicago Dental Society. I believe it is imperative to keep abreast of current topics, techniques, and procedures in the field of dentistry. To keep current, I attend continuing education courses year round to ensure that I am instructed in the most up-to-date techniques so that I can provide quality dental care to my patients. As a general dentist, I typically perform exams, restorations, and fixed restorative work including veneers, crowns, and bridges. I also enjoy being able to branch out into specialty experiences like endodontics, the fabrication of removable appliances, and extractions. I’m also certified in BOTOX® and facial fillers such as JUVÉDERM®. I find improving facial esthetics as well as comprehensive oral health to be rewarding and satisfying. I have a young daughter that my husband and I enjoy watching grow and develop in Oak Park where we reside. In my free time, you will find me cheering on my Alma Mater Marquette University during basketball season and rooting for the Chicago Bears during the fall. I spend as much time as I can with family and pursuing active hobbies. People ask me why I decided to become a dentist. It could be that I was terrible at math and had a strange desire to put my hands in other people’s mouths. While both of those may be true, what really drives my passion is making our patients feel at ease. I treat everyone as if they were family and try to address any anxieties or concerns they may be having. I am striving to change the common standard and opinion of the dentist, even if it is just one smile at a time.
