About Nilam P. Johnson, Aesthetician Specialist
When I was in high school I started experimenting in my parents kitchen making wax with lemon juice and sugar. So, Before school dances or date nights, my basement was a little wax studio. I didn’t know one should use applicator sticks to apply wax…I used a butter knife and cut my old denim into strips (hey it worked and there was no waste). That was also the year I learned to thread eyebrows. It took some time to control the thread but after much practice I got better and better. My dad’s dream was for one of his children to be a pharmacist and after working in different areas of pharmacy world I realized it wasn’t for me. My husband convinced me to go to Aesthetics school and I am so glad he did. I am very lucky to be able to call my passion my job. It’s not a job when you love what you do.
