About Leigh Miyamoto, MD
I was born in Hawaii, at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Honolulu. I grew up in Hawaii, and later moved to the bay area, where I received a bachelor of science degree from Stanford. I received a medical degree from Yale University, and completed my dermatology residency at Cleveland Clinic Foundation. I am board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, and am also a member of the American Academy of Dermatology. I joined Kaiser Permanente because I believe an integrated system of health care is an ideal way to take care of the patient as a whole person. I enjoy the collegiality of working with colleagues in my department, as well as providers from other departments, with the goal of taking care of the individual patient.
