About Joy E. White, MD
Dr. White has had a passion for helping people through medicine since the age of 5 years old. She grew up observing her mother work as a Registered Nurse and realized at a very young age that her God given destiny was to become a physician. She was born and raised in Metro Detroit. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Howard University, in addition to her Master of Science and Doctor of Medicine from Wayne State University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Oakwood Hospital (Beaumont Health System) in Dearborn, MI. She has also earned a number of certifications in Aesthetic Medicine. Dr. White's ultimate goal is to fund her White Diamond Outreach Foundation with the funds from White Diamond Medical Clinic and Spa, PLLC. She has been an avid volunteer in her community including providing physician services to women and children in need. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, an organization that proudly emphasizes community service. Dr. White had a vision to open a comprehensive facility that emphasizes taking care of the whole person from the inside out in a luxurious setting. Hence, White Diamond Medical Clinic and Spa, PLLC was birthed. Dr. White enjoys traveling and spending time with her four beautiful children.
