About Joseph Szymanski, DDS
Dr. Joseph Szymanski was born and raised in Shelby Township, Mi where he attended Eisenhower High school. He completed his undergraduate studies at Oakland University receiving his Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then continued his education at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. During his time at the University of Michigan, Dr. Szymanski was a dedicated team member of the Victors for Veterans project. This project was established to provide free dental care to underserved veterans in northern Michigan. Studies showed that only 10% of Michigan’s veterans qualified for oral health benefits. Since 2018, the Victors for Veterans project team provided $320,800 worth of free services to veterans in northern Michigan. Dr. Szymanski is an active member of both the American Dental association and the Michigan Dental Association. He is very passionate and enjoys building strong relationships with his patients. He believes in instilling confidence in his patients, beginning with their smiles, to lead a healthier, happier life.
