About Joseph J. Portale, DMD
Joseph J. Portale, DMD, MAGD, aims to provide the highest quality dental services based on the newest technologies and techniques. Dr. Portale, along with the team at Portale Dental in Ridgefield, New Jersey, is a proponent of continuous education on any and all changes in the industry. He believes that staying educated helps his team provide first-rate services, whether in general and family dentistry, restorative dentistry, or sleep-disordered breathing. Dr. Portale graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1972. He’s since become a Fellow and Master of the American Academy of General Dentistry, an award given to less than 1% of dentists across the country. He’s also been on the medical teaching staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital for around seven years. He continues to educate himself in a variety of dental areas, such as periodontal and endodontic dentistry, cosmetic practices, oral surgery, and restoration. His oral surgery focuses include extractions, impacted teeth, implant placement, and grafting. Dr. Portale is ready to assist patients in New Jersey with quality dental care. He incorporates patients in the decision-making process while offering his recommendations for treatment. He always strives to ensure that patients’ satisfaction and comfort are of the utmost importance during their appointment.
