About Jessica S. Kim, DDS
Dr. Jessica Kim was born in Los Angeles, but was raised in San Diego after the age of three. Although her uncle was a dentist, the thought to become one didn’t enter her mind until the second year of her undergraduate program at UCSD, where she was enrolled as a physiology and neuroscience major and a dance minor. Her love of art, science, and helping others aligned when she discovered the world of dentistry, and she hasn’t looked back since. She attended USC for dental school before completing a general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. It wasn’t long, however, before Dr. Kim was back on the sunny West Coast of Southern California practicing dentistry. Her love of art has never diminished, and she encourages any patient who paints or creates art to share their works, which often end up hanging on the office walls. She loves attending live performances of all kinds, and continues to dance when she can. An avid adventurer, she enjoys filling her passport with stamps and having new culinary experiences. When she’s not traveling or in the office, you can find her at the beach, or spending time with her loved ones.
