About Jacqueline T. Cheng, English
Jacqueline T. Cheng, MD was born in Akron, Ohio and raised in Mountain View, California. She received her Bachelor of Arts and her Medical Degree in a combined six year BA-MD program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City where she graduated with distinction and received numerous honors including junior membership into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and the Merck Manual Award for Outstanding Achievement in Medical Education. After graduation from the University of Illinois, Chicago she completed a residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery where she was fortunate to train under two internationally known facial plastic surgeons. After her residency, Dr. J. Cheng also completed advanced fellowship training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Meridian Plastic Surgery Center in Indianapolis under the direction of Dr. Stephen Perkins, who is a well respected facial plastic surgeon and past president of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Upon completion of her fellowship, she returned to the Bay area and has been practicing medicine here for several years. Although she finds surgery rewarding, it cannot compare to the enjoyment Jackie receives from spending time with her husband and sons. Dr. J. Cheng is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, California Society of Facial Plastic Surgery as well as numerous local and national medical societies. Dr. Cheng has published many articles and chapters on Facial Plastic Surgery and has several national presentations to her credit. Dr. Jacqueline Cheng is a respected expert in her field and is often called upon to train other physicians.
