About Howard D. Stupak, MD
Howard D. Stupak, M.D. specializes exclusively in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, head, and neck. He is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (www.abfprs.org) and is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (www.aafprs.org). He has practiced in Connecticut since moving here with his family from New Orleans in 2005. Known for his delicate technique and natural appearing results, Dr. Stupak seeks to strike the exact balance between achieving significant improvements while taking a conservative approach for his patients. He focuses upon providing individualized care with techniques designed to enhance personal aesthetics while minimizing risks. He completed his undergraduate training at Emory University of Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated from medical school with honors (Alpha Omega Alpha) and distinction in research at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. His surgical residency training in Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery was fulfilled at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Stupak completed his sub-specialty training with a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with world-renowned surgeon Dr. Calvin M. Johnson, Jr. at the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Stupak is dedicated to teaching facial plastic surgery as an Assistant Professor at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. He has authored multiple articles on various topics within the field of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, and is actively involved in clinical research and surgical innovation.
