About Howard S. Jeon, DMD
Howard Jeon, DMD, is a leading teaching and practicing maxillofacial prosthodontist with 20 plus years in general and cosmetic dentistry, with his main practice at Advanced Implant Dentistry & MedSpa of North Shore in Glenview, Illinois. He is one of only five maxillofacial prosthodontists active in the state of Illinois, and he strives to provide the utmost in visually appealing and functional results for each of his patients. Dr. Jeon began his numerous years in academia at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts. Shortly after, he moved to Philadelphia to attend the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine. Dr. Jeon moved back to the Chicago area for specialty training in prosthodontics from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He finished his formal training with a subspecialty fellowship in maxillofacial prosthetics and dental oncology at the world-renowned Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. Outside of Advanced Implant Dentistry & Medspa of North Shore, Dr. Jeon is both a teacher and an ongoing student of his discipline. He is an assistant professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry and lectures both nationally and internationally. Dr. Jeon holds professional memberships with the American College of Prosthodontists, the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the International Congress on Maxillofacial Rehabilitation. Plus, he was an attending maxillofacial prosthodontist at the Illinois Masonic Medical Center for over 20 years. Dr. Jeon provides a welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere at Advanced Implant Dentistry & MedSpa of North Shore and loves taking the time to get to know his patients on an individual basis. He performs complex restorative dental procedures like implant surgery and maxillofacial prosthodontics.
