About Helene C. Dombrowski, MD
Helene C. Dombrowski, M.D., is a Board Certified Dermatologist with a private practice in Dearborn, Michigan. She graduated with honors from Wayne State University School of Medicine. She served her internship at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, and completed her residency at Henry Ford Hospital in the Department of Dermatology under the expert guidance of its Chairman, Dr. Edward Krull, and its Chairman Emeritus, Dr. Clarence Livingood. Dr. Dombrowski specializes in both general and cosmetic dermatology, having a particular interest in injectables, fillers, laser rejuvenation of aging, sun damaged skin and the development of personalized, science-based skin care regimens. She has continued her professional education at both national and international professional meetings and in the private offices of distinguished dermatologists and plastic surgeons. For over fifteen years, Dr. Dombrowski has been an active member of the Michigan Dermatological Society. She served nine years as Chair of its Public Relations Committee and was subsequently elected President of the Society in 2004. She remains a member of the Society’s Ethics Committee and its Board of Executives. Dr. Dombrowski serves as a clinical assistant professor of Dermatology at Wayne State Universtiy School of Medicine and is on the medical staff at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn. She is a a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatalogic Surgery, and the American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology & Aesthetic Surgery. In order to streamline the delivery of her skin care expertise to her patients, Dr. Dombrowski opened Simply Beautiful! A Skin Care Studio in 2002. The studio is conveniently located immediately adjacent to her medical office in West Dearborn’s Cherry Hill Medical Village. Dr. Dombrowski helps support the Dearborn Symphony, the Dearborn Animal Shelter, the Dearborn Garden Club and the Michigan Opera Theatre.
