About Harold R. Mendelson, DDS
Harold R. Mendelson, DDS maintains a private practice in Owings Mills, MD. He was born and raised in Grafton, West Virginia. He came to Baltimore in 1963 to attend dental school at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Dr. Mendelson graduated in the top ten percent of his class in 1967. After dental school, he went on to complete residency in advanced General Dentistry at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. In 1968, he went into the United States Army where he was lucky enough to be introduced to and inspired by the theories of Dr. William Barkley, the father of Preventive Dentistry. After completing his tour of duty, Dr. Mendelson and his family came back to Baltimore to set up their dream, Mendelson Family Dentistry, PA.
