I’ve dedicated my life to helping you feel incredible in your skin. I know how devastating and isolating it can be to suffer from various skin issues including acne, severe dryness, rosacea, eczema, and even pre-mature wrinkles. I’ve learned quickly in life that feeling good or bad in your skin truly can make or break your whole life. This is why I’ve created Skin Property. I wanted a brand that truly cared and advised on skin – a company that was invested in the person versus the brand. I couldn’t find it, so I created it! I’ve always been passionate about beauty and wellness. I have fabulous women in my life that are great skincare mentors. However, as I grew up, I quickly learned how confusing the beauty industry can be. I was “somewhat knowledgeable” about skin, but I was being hit with so much information and growing amounts of product messaging that I quickly became disoriented and skeptical of every claim and expert opinion I heard. Nothing seemed to actually help my skin. And as a marketing veteran, I was all too aware of the strategic ways companies use language, celebrity influence, and PR to convince you their product or service is the bees knees. I came to the conclusion that if I was ever going to get my skin looking amazing, I would have to become my own expert. Long story short, I decided to quit my comfortable marketing career and pursue a more purposeful life mission of being the skin expert that we all so desperately need in this world. I sought out one of the top European esthetics institutes in the world and worked my butt off to become state-board licensed to advise on skincare. This was important to me since so many brands, sales reps and influencers out there are NOT LICENSED in esthetics. This means that the majority of people telling us how to take care of our skin are hardly aware of how the skin actually functions. So here I am – ready to share my in-depth, truthful and unbiased skincare knowledge so that you are finally able to feel in control of your own skin health. While I do sell some professional products that I have personally vetted, I remain unaffiliated financially to any brand or company. I am here solely to help you navigate this crazy beauty industry with better tools and understanding so you can reach your dream skin goals.
