Elizabeth is an established and gifted artist, based in San Diego, CA and has been located at The Salon at the Vineyard (in the Bernardo Winery) for over 25yrs. As a proud San Diego native, Elizabeth displays a true dedication to her craft in every aspect of her work; including an attention to detail and superb customer service that is matched by many years of experience. Elizabeth started her career as a Permanent Makeup Artist with a 6 month apprenticeship under Cathy Montie, (owner of Absolute Permanent Makeup) an industry expert who has been doing Permanent Makeup for over 30 years. Cathy is also the president of the CAPSBA (California Alliance for the Promotion of Safe Body Art), as well as a representative for the Department of Environmental Health. Elizabeth's high level of training has set her apart from many other Permanent Makeup Artist who have tried to make their mark in the industry. Elizabeth prides herself in being educated in all of the latest technologies and techniques, and is continuously expanding her training in order to offer the very best services for her valued clients. In taking yearly trips, Elizabeth has studied under some of the most gifted artists in the industry. Through her training she has had the opportunity to study and perfect the art of lining, shading and achieving the beautiful effects that her clients love. This combination of skills and talent has made her one of the best and most sought after permanent makeup artists in the industry. In addition to being a highly skill Permanent Makeup Artist, Elizabeth also has a thorough knowledge of all aspects of the health and safety issues associated with Cosmetic Tattooing (aka Permanent Makeup). This can sometimes result in Elizabeth having to turn away potential clients, but this practice is just another display of how Elizabeth always puts her clients best interest first.
