About Dominick Ligresti, MD
Dr. Ligresti has been proudly providing Dermatological care to patients in New York and New Jersey for over 20 years. After graduating from Syracuse University with a BS in Microbiology, Dr. Ligresti obtained his Medical Degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. Dr. Ligresti completed his Internship at the State College of Pennsylvania in Internal Medicine and moved onto Ohio State University for his Residency in Dermatology. Following his Residency, Dr. Ligresti opened Ligresti Dermatology Associates while he also returned to Mount Sinai to become a Clinical Instructor of Dermatology for over 10 years. For the next 5 years, he became the Dermatology Clinic Chief and The Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology for Mount Sinai School of Medicine. His warm mannerism and soft-spoken style made him a favorite for over 10 years in the Adult and Pediatric Dermatology Clinic. During this tenure, Dr. Ligresti was awarded Department of Dermatology’s Award for Exceptional Service in Patient Care for 8 consecutive years. Dr. Ligresti is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and is an active member of the Medical Society of New Jersey. He is proud of his being awarded one of America’s Top Physicians for 10 consecutive years as well as listed in New Jersey Magazines “Top NJ Doctors”. He is on staff at Clara Maas Hospital in Belleville, NJ and Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. He is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian.
