About Debra M. Ferraiolo, DMD
I believe one of the most important parts of my job is listening to my patients’ concerns and making sure they are truly comfortable during treatment. One of the things I am most proud of is how quickly our patients feel like this is there ‘dental home.’ My approach to treatment is to make my patients feel like guests while introducing them to the exciting and innovative aspects of 21st-century dentistry. I practice preventive dentistry, where the goal is preventing gum disease and cavities before they happen, whenever possible. Your oral health is cared for as well as coordinating with your overall body health. Dr. Ferraiolo shares her excitement about dentistry with tomorrow’s dentists. She began teaching in 2005 at New York University College of Dentistry in New York City. She became a member of the American Dental Educators Association (ADEA) in 2006 and has been a presenter at the annual meetings since. Our dentist in Totowa, NJ teaches aspects of dentistry involving comprehensive examination, radiology, treating medically complex patients and patient management. In June 2011, she was appointed as the Course Director to the third year dental students for her department and in 2016 became Director of the NYU College of Dentistry Admissions Clinic. Being involved with dental education helps keep her on top of all the new and exciting things in dentistry and enhances the care she provides to her patients. She is a talented and dedicated cosmetic dentist near Wayne.
