About Daniel J. Krochmal, MD

Dr. Dan Krochmal specializes in aesthetic plastic surgery. While he performs procedures from head to toe, his areas of interest include advanced liposuction, tummy tuck, breast shaping, and buttocks sculpting. He completed his plastic surgery training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and his aesthetic fellowship at the prestigious Hunstad Kortesis Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. He traveled to Brazil to learn buttock implant and fat grafting techniques with Raul Gonzalez, a pioneer in buttocks surgery. A Michigan native, he moved back to the Midwest following his training to join Michael Epstein, M.D., at MAE Plastic Surgery in Northbrook. In addition to obtaining fantastic results for his patients, Dr. Krochmal’s priority is patient safety. He sits on the Patient Safety Committees for both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. His surgeries take place at his fully accredited operating room at his Northbrook office. He utilizes only board certified anesthesiologists to look after you during your procedure. When he’s not operating, he’s typically exploring Chicago’s restaurant scene, catching up on the latest HBO series, or at the gym (working off what he put on at the restaurant). Oh, and if you’re curious, his last name is pronounced like a “crocodile” and a “shopping mall”, but many patients refer to him simply as “Dr. Dan”.
