About Daniel A. Belkin
Daniel Belkin, M.D., is a board-certified dermatologist who is fellowship-trained in cosmetic dermatology, laser surgery, and Mohs micrographic surgery. After graduating magna cum laude from Amherst College, he received his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College. As part of his training, he did a research fellowship at the Rockefeller University where he studied non-melanoma skin cancer. He graduated with both honors in service as well as honors in research, and he received multiple awards including the Dean’s Research Award. He subsequently trained in dermatology at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, where he helped create the educational program in dermatologic surgery. He also received extensive training in medical, surgical, and pediatric dermatology at the Los Angeles County Medical Center, Keck Hospital of USC, and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. He went on to complete a prestigious fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and reconstructive surgery, laser surgery, and cosmetic dermatology under the direction of Roy G. Geronemus, M.D. at the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York.
