About Christina M. Busuito, MD
Dr. Christina Busuito is a fellowship trained plastic surgeon. She completed her fellowship in aesthetic plastic surgery at Beverly Hills Physicians in Beverly Hills, California. Completing her fellowship in the epicenter of cosmetic plastic surgery, Dr. Busuito learned cutting edge techniques from the leaders in the field. Her practice focuses on cosmetic surgery but she also practices reconstruction as well. Dr. Busuito received extensive training in Brazilian butt lifts, as well as other cosmetic procedures like breast augmentation, breast lifts, breast reduction, facelifts, rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, tummy tucks and botox and fillers. Dr. Busuito is happy to return to her home state, while bringing back all the skills and expertise from her fellowship in Beverly Hills. Prior to her training in Beverly Hills, Dr. Busuito, a Michigan native, spent over 10 years in Detroit, Michigan completing Medical School at Wayne State University School of Medicine and her Plastic Surgery residency at the Detroit Medical Center. Her undergraduate studies were also completed in Michigan at Albion College in Albion, MI. During her training, Dr. Busuito received several academic honors, which began in her undergraduate education and continued into medical school and residency. Her medical honors include awards for excellence in clinical and academic achievement in surgery. She has also presented research at several local, regional and nation conferences. This has included an award for Best Presentation at the National Conference for the American Society of Plastic Surgery for her research in pediatric plastic surgery. She has published research in several peer-reviewed journals for both general surgery and plastic surgery. Dr. Busuito stays active with the medical school at Wayne State and sits on the admissions committee for the Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Busuito offers a wide variety of procedures at multiple metro Detroit area hospitals including Royal Oak and Troy Beaumont, Crittenton, and St. John Hospital. Dr. Busuito’s practice includes both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery and she accepts multiple insurance policies. Some of the cosmetic procedures offered include breast augmentation, breast lift, breast reduction, tummy tuck, Brazilian butt lift, liposuction, facelift, eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty, botox and fillers. She also performs reconstructive surgery including breast reconstruction, chest and abdominal wall reconstruction, and post-Mohs surgery reconstruction, among others. Plastic Surgery is an ever changing field and Dr. Busuito’s training has incorporated the latest technology and techniques proven to be safe and effective. She has a wide breadth of training and having completed a fellowship in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, has the experience needed to give the best results.
