About Anthony J. Geroulis, MD
With over 30 years of experience at The North Shore Center for Facial, Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery, Dr. Anthony J. Geroulis combines technical innovation, individualized attention, creativity and surgical skills to provide the best facility for plastic and cosmetic surgery in the United States. An accomplished sculptor (New York Museum of Art award), Dr. Geroulis strives for natural-looking facial and body rejuvenation, integrating artistry, science and surgical skill to produce pleasing results for each individual. Dr. Geroulis is a pioneer in the field of blepharoplasty (eye lifting), transconjunctival technique; the endoscopic forehead and brow lift; S-face lift; and liposuction surgery, as well as the author of scientific articles and educational videos found in the library of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Geroulis is a 1973 graduate of the Chicago Medical School in Chicago, Illinois. He trained in general surgery, otolaryngology, and head and neck surgery at the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he also gained extensive experience in facial anatomy and structure. Dr. Geroulis trained with noted cosmetic surgeon Dr. Richard Webster, the pioneer and founding father of cosmetic surgery in the United States and the founder and first president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS). He is certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. In 1988, Dr. Geroulis founded The North Shore Center for Facial Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery. He became a faculty member and instructor at Rush Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, and was appointed Head of the Section of Otolaryngology for the City of Chicago’s Board of Health. His practice has grown to serve teachers, physicians, surgeons, politicians, actors, news media personnel, celebrities and other dignitaries from around the world.
