About Ann Sherman, Aesthetician Specialist
Ann is a licensed Medical Aesthetician and Certified Cosmetic Laser Technician, bringing 20 years of experience working in the medical field. After graduating from the Southwest Institute of Natural Aesthetics, she completed continuing education courses in advanced medical skin care, chemical peels, dermaplaning, specialized facials, and product knowledge. She then took her skin care knowledge to the next level by achieving certification through Oncology Aesthetics International. Ann has a special interest in anti-aging treatments and solutions for compromised skin such as the changes that can occur in the skin due to cancer, cancer therapies, dialysis, diabetes, illness, medication, suppressed immune system, rosacea, acne and aging. Ann believes that with continual learning, for herself and her clients, she will be able to enhance your experience at Mindful Skin Spa. Having an affiliation with the American Cancer Society, Ann is certified to facilitate the Look Good Feel Better program which supports women as their skin changes during treatments. Ann also volunteers weekly with Ironwood Cancer and Research Center in the Phoenix area.
