About Ana C. Laureano, MD
Dr. Ana Cristina Laureano is a board certified dermatologist focused on delivering comprehensive general and cosmetic dermatologic care to both adults and children. Her areas of expertise include: skin cancer screenings, skin cancer surgery, acne, psoriasis and other inflammatory skin conditions. Dr. Laureano also offers an extensive array of cosmetic procedures including Botox injections, dermal fillers, lip fillers, cosmetic earlobe reconstruction, as well as laser/light therapies for scars, acne, veins, and facial rejuvenation. Dr. Laureano, a native New Yorker, is a magna cum laude graduate of The City College of New York. At City College she completed an accelerated B.S./M.D. program at The Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education. She continued on to earn her medical doctorate from New York University School of Medicine in 2011. Following medical school, Dr. Laureano completed her internship in internal medicine at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York. She then relocated to New Jersey to attend Rutgers – New Jersey Medical School, where she completed her dermatology residency in 2015, and served as Chief Resident. Throughout the course of her medical training, Dr. Laureano has published several peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, as well as having presented original research at the New York Academy of Medicine. She is a diplomat of the American Academy of Dermatology, and is a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. In addition, she is fluent in spanish. In her free time, Dr Laureano enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Instagram blogging about the field of dermatology is another passion of hers.
