About Alan Kushner, DDS
Dr. Drs. Kushner, Becker has practiced dentistry since 1973. Upon graduation from Loyola University Dental School, he became a staff dentist at Hines Hospital where his focus was oral cancer rehabilitation. After leaving the hospital, he assumed the practice of Dr. E. Z. Kamin at 69 W. Washington, Chicago, Illinois. He moved the practice to its present location at 205 N. Michigan in 1994. Dr. Kushner has taken numerous courses in implant and cosmetic dentistry, where his focus is today. He has served as the chairman of the dental advisory committee for an insurance company and was State dental director for Illinois Pacific Dental Insurance, serving 17,000 members. Dr. Kushner has provided dental care for the Salvation Army, Debra’s Place – women’s shelter, Illinois Dentistry for the Homebound and Handicapped and is currently building a free dental clinic in Panama, Central America. Dr. Kushner has also provided free dental care in Guatemala and Honduras. He is a member of the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, and American Dental Association and is a fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International. He has appeared both on television and radio to support dental health in the State of Illinois. Finally, he is a member of the Peer Review Committee of the Chicago Dental Society.
