About Zakir Sabry, MD
Dr. Zakir Sabry is a fellowship-trained plastic surgeon now specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of face, breast and body. His commitment to excellence is derived from his extensive academic training, strong sense of patient care and a passion for restoring form and function. His passion is “Rhinoplasty” but he performs a wide variety of cosmetic surgeries as well, i.e. Eyelid surgery, Facelift, Breast surgery, Tummy Tuck, Thigh lift etc. He also offers state-of-the art non-surgical treatments i.e. Coolsculpting (non-invasive lipoplasty) and advanced facial skin care treatments i.e. Laser and Hydrafacial. He is an active member of surgical staff at Lenox Hill Hospital and Manhattan, Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in New York City and Syosset Hospital/ LIJ in Long Island and New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn and serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at New York Medical College. After earning his medical degree from New York Medical College in 1993, he began his post-doctoral training with an internship and residency in general surgery at Saint Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center in Manhattan. This was followed by a second residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the prestigious Medical College of Virginia/ VCU, and culminated in a fellowship in craniofacial surgery at Barnes Hospital/ St. Louis Children’s Hospital- Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Sabry started his career in academia. As a faculty member at Saint Louis University, he trained plastic surgery residents and held the distinguished position of Section Chief of Plastic Surgery and Director of the Cleft and Craniofacial Deformities Institute at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital.
