About Zachary Berbos, MD
Dr. Zachary Berbos was born and raised in South Dakota. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a minor in Religion and Philosophy at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles. He attended medical school at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, graduating with highest honors in all fields of study. He completed his residency at the University of Minnesota Department of Ophthalmology and was honored by serving as Chief Resident in his final year, while scoring in the top 1% nationally on his Ophthalmology Board exams. As a resident, he received an award for having an exceptional gift for Oculofacial Surgery. He then completed a two-year fellowship in Cosmetic and Functional Oculoplastic and Facial Surgery in Salt Lake City, Utah training under Dr. Richard Anderson and Dr. John McCann at the Center for Facial Appearances, which is recognized as one of the leading training programs in the nation for oculofacial surgery. Dr. Berbos is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He specializes in treating conditions involving the eyebrows, forehead, eyelids, orbit (eye socket), lacrimal (tear) system, mid-face and lower face. Dr. Berbos has a particular interest in cosmetic facial surgery, as well as eyelid and facial reconstruction following skin cancer removal. His area of expertise also includes facial cosmetic surgery, as well as non-surgical modalities to improve cosmetic appearance, including botulinum toxins (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin), laser and chemical skin resurfacing and a variety of injectable dermal fillers Juvederm, Belotero, Radiesse, Restylane, etc.
