About William E. Tausend, MD
William Tausend, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist who joined Bayshore Dermatology in 2018. He was born at Bayshore Hospital in Pasadena and grew up in Clear Lake. He graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University in 2010. He then graduated magna cum laude from the University of Texas Medical Branch-Galveston in 2014 and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He completed his internship and dermatology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2018. Dr. Tausend is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and an active member of the Houston Dermatological Society, Harris County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, and Texas Dermatological Society. Dr. Tausend is an avid football and Texas A&M athletics fan, and enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and Bernese Mountain Dogs.
