About Whitney Elise, Aesthetician Specialist
Hey beauties! My name is Whitney Elise and I am a Licensed Esthetician and Beauty Therapist located in the heart of Uptown Charlotte, NC. Although I’m currently living the Queen City Life, I will forever be a little Southern Belle from Charleston, SC. Charleston is where my love for beauty began. As a young girl, I watched my grandmother style hair in her salon from sun up to sun down. It was so inspiring to witness the confidence of the women who sat in her chair, and to see my grandma make women feel beautiful. I loved seeing the transformation, but the best part was always when she spun them around to reveal their final look in the mirror. The expression on their faces was priceless to me, and I wanted to make women feel that exact way one day! Although hair itself is not my passion, I know that beauty is my purpose and my calling. After earning my degree in Public Health, I took a job in my field and entered the workforce (because let’s face it, I had to pay Sallie Mae back). After about 3 years in healthcare and walking into work miserable every morning, I decided to take a crazy Leap of Faith and follow my dream, so I enrolled in Esthetics School! Fast forward to a year later: I now own a beauty studio/spa where I offer an array of services specializing in Luxury Bridal Makeup, Full Body Waxing and Skincare treatments. I am so glad that I decided to follow God’s calling in my life and serve my purpose because I am now truly fulfilled doing what I love most— providing Beauty Therapy for women. I can’t wait to share this Glam-preneur Journey with you!.
