About Wael Kouli, MD
Dr. Kouli is a sought-after cosmetic surgeon who is often described by his patients as a warm and caring doctor. He was trained by two of the nation’s leaders in cosmetic and weight loss surgery in both specialty fellowship programs. He practiced cosmetic and weight loss surgery for the last ten years in South Jersey and the Philadelphia area. After graduating from Aleppo University Medical School in 1996, Dr. Kouli started his internship in surgery at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He then proceeded to Drexel University in Philadelphia for his general surgical residency. His dedication to beauty prompted him to complete a fellowship in weight loss surgery at the University Medical Center at Princeton in Princeton, New Jersey and a fellowship in cosmetic surgery in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Kouli is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is board-certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He is also a diplomat of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Kouli is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. He is also published in multiple medical journals.
