About Vivian M. Hsu, MD
She completed her training at the prestigious Plastic Surgery Residency program at the University of Pennsylvania. She spent her last year of training as Chief Resident in Plastic Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), gaining experience in aesthetic surgical techniques and complex soft tissue reconstruction. Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Hsu received her MD from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. Previously, she graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Biology and English. Dr. Hsu has worked with prominent academic and community plastic surgeons in the Philadelphia area, specializing in breast cosmetic surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, breast reconstruction, abdominal contouring surgery, and skin cancer reconstruction. She is well-published in academic journals and has spoken at national conferences on various advances in plastic surgery, including fat grafting, the study of facial aging, and breast reconstruction. In addition to her extensive training, Dr. Hsu brings a feminine perspective and personalized care and creativity to address the unique concerns of each of her patients.
