About Tyler J. Maly, MD
Dr. Maly, board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, joined Dermatologist Medical Group of North County in 2017. Originally from Nebraska, he obtained his undergraduate (B.S. in Nutritional Sciences) and medical degrees from the University of Arizona. In medical school, he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and graduated number one in his class. He was also selected by his peers to be a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society, which recognizes individuals who are 'exemplars of compassionate patient care and who serve as role models, mentors, and leaders in medicine'. Dr. Maly completed his intern year in internal medicine at St. Mary's Medical Center in San Francisco, CA and dermatology residency at the University of California-Irvine. His interests include medical dermatology (acne, eczema, psoriasis, etc.), skin cancer screening, and dermatologic surgery.
