About Tristin Resinger, Aesthetician Specialist
In March of 2011, Tristin Resinger had grown tired of the way most massage and skin care clinics operated and decided to start out on her own and formed Akua Esthetics&Bodywork LLC. The name Akua, Hawaiian for divine, came from her fathers upbringing on Maui and her best friends childhood on Kauai. The pair chose it as their fictional spa name during their training at the Utah College of Massage Therapy, where Tristin graduated from in 2005. WIth over a decade of experience as both a Licensed Massage Therapist and Licensed Esthetician, Tristin strives for excellence in customer service and satisfaction by seeking out the best training in results oriented care. She studies not only the newest in modalities and technology but also the tried and true methods and then blends the two to give her clients the best of both worlds. Visible, noticeable, and desireable results are the goal for all of the skin care and massage therapies and products that Tristin brings into Akua. That is why she has furthered her training and sought the mastery of Ashiatsu DeepFeet Bar Therapy. Ashiatsu provides the client with the deepest, most relaxing massage possible without causing pain and discomfort while giving long lasting relief from chronic pain and tension. When it comes to skin care Tristin seeks out quality products that are safe for us and the environment while still giving great, visible results. Phytomer, PCA Skin, and Rhonda Alison each have excellent research and and clincal proof that their provides are safe and effective. In 2016, Tristin added LED Light Therapy, Microdermabrasion, Ultrasonic Therapy, and the option of the Skin Scrubber to the Akua Esthetics&Bodywork Skin Care Menu.
