About Trina E. Espinola, MD
Dr. Espinola is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She is a graduate of Tulane University with a bachelors in biochemistry, along with her medical degree. Dr. Espinola completed her surgical internship at Charity Hospital, New Orleans, her surgical residency at Tulane University Department of Surgery, and her otolaryngology residency at Tulane University Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, New Orleans. Dr. Espinola has practiced Otolaryngology in St. Petersburg since 1993, and she sees both pediatric and adult patients. Dr. Espinola utilized the latest treatments and technology, and whenever appropriate minimally invasive treatment options. Dr. Espinola has spent her career promoting good health and quality care by serving numerous committee appointments both locally and at the state level. She served four years on the Florida Board of Medicine, and four years as Chief of Staff at Bayfront Hospital. Dr. Espinola also has various academic affiliations and is involved in the education and training of medical students and residents.
