About Todd Gerlach
Dr. Todd M. Gerlach is a board certified plastic surgeon. He specializes in cosmetic surgery to the face, neck, breast and body contouring. Dr. Gerlach's passion for anatomy, and meticulous attention to detail, has fueled his talent as a gifted cosmetic surgeon who understands millimeters can make a substantial difference. Dr. Gerlach has earned his reputation not only for surgical skills, but also for his compassionate bedside manner, attentive care and patient education. He stresses confidentiality. Dr. Gerlach strives to provide a comfortable, relaxing setting and attentive service. The office is equipped for both non-surgical and surgical treatment of aging. Originally from Southern California, he attended college at the University of California at Riverside, graduating with a major in biochemistry. Pursuing his lifelong dream of becoming a physician, Dr. Gerlach moved to Chicago to continue his career at the Chicago Medical School, followed by general surgery residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Gerlach went on to complete his plastic surgery training at the renowned Cleveland Clinic Foundation emphasizing in aesthetic/cosmetic and breast surgery. Following his extensive training in Cleveland, he completed a fellowship in microsurgery under the direction of H. Buncke in San Francisco as well as an additional hand surgery fellowship at U.C. Davis Medical Center. Dr. Gerlach has headed as well as participated in many research projects, presentations and publications. His research efforts have spanned many years and at multiple facilities.
