About Thomas Grace, MD
Dr. Thomas Grace is a board certified plastic surgeon with over 20 years of experience. Dr. Grace attended the University of Maryland at Baltimore County where he received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees and graduated Cum Laude and Magna Cum Laude respectively. Following graduate school, Dr. Grace obtained his Medical Degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He is a member of the medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Grace completed his General Surgery residency at the University of Maryland and his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Grace currently serves as the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Saint Agnes Hospital, and as Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland Hospital, Department of Surgery. He mentors Plastic Surgery fellows from the University of Maryland and the Johns Hopkins University, Divisions of Plastic Surgery. In addition to Saint Agnes Hospital, Dr. Grace has privileges at Mercy Hospital, Howard County General Hospital, and the University of Maryland Medical System. Dr. Grace has also received numerous awards such as Surgical Specialty Teacher of the Year at Saint Agnes Hospital, Alumnus of the Year at the University of Maryland at Baltimore County, and Baltimore Magazine Top Doc. He has lectured throughout the United States and abroad on various aspects of surgery. Dr. Grace enjoys a wide variety of plastic surgery, specifically breast surgery, body contouring and facial cosmetic surgery. His reconstructive expertise is utilized by the Saint Agnes Breast Center, where he is a plastic surgical consultant. Dr. Grace believes in giving back to the community. He and his brothers founded and run a non-profit organization in Lansdowne, Leadership through Athletics, which fosters character development of neighborhood youth. He is a longtime basketball coach who enjoys watching his players mature both on and off the court. Dr. Grace lives in Catonsville with his wife and six children.
