In addition, he uses his platform as a cosmetic plastic surgeon to assist in studying the relationship of inflammation, fat, and various metabolic and cardiovascular diseases. Plastic surgery is a unique blend of sound medical judgment, surgical technique, art and the discriminating use of emerging technologies. Plastic surgery is most effective when a specific cosmetic concern is treated with the most appropriate cosmetic procedure. To ensure that this is the case, patients should always seek a board-certified, well-trained plastic surgeon who can safely offer multiple surgical and non-surgical options. A surgeon with many tools in his or her toolbox is most likely to get you the result you want. As the old saying goes, Just because you have a hammer doesn't mean that everything is a nail.
