About Taryn Quinterri, Aesthetician Specialist
Born in Tucson, raised in Phoenix, Arizona. When she was young, Taryn enjoyed doing her friend’s hair and makeup, she was a natural at it. Little did she know it would eventually lead to her career. She studied Architecture at Arizona State University for a year, then switched her major to general Mathematics because Architecture bored her, having still no clue what she wanted to do in life. Taryn was introduced to the industry through laser tattoo removal. She got an embarrassing tattoo and desperately needed it removed. After seeing how well it worked it peaked her interest into joining the beauty industry. She was introduced to cosmetic/paramedical tattooing while in school for Electrolysis. School ignited a strong passion in cosmetic tattooing. Immediately after graduation Taryn began sourcing the best artists and trainers in the world in their respective specialties. She has traveled all over the world and has done hundreds of hours of continued education. She has trained with or been mentored by Nataliya Yeremenko, Toni Belfatto, Alina Soloveva, Linda Dixon, Tina Davies, Doreen Lindgren, Anna Savina, Daria Chuprys, Teryn Darling, Will Anthony, Lanette Scherr, Rhonda Vacanti, Nancy Gagliardo, Joyce Carusoula, Jodi Stoski, Marjorie Winebrenner Grimm, Mary Ritcherson, James Olaya and more. Cosmetic Aesthetics was launched in 2013. Shortly thereafter partnered with the largest SMP company in the world and ran their first 2 locations. After a year ended the partnership to focus on Cosmetic Aesthetics so she could have full control of the quality of work . Since then has become globally recognized for her SMP work and training. Taryn specializes in Scalp Micropigmentation and/or Tricopigmentation, scar revision/camouflage and hyper realistic eyebrow tattooing. She is also a highly sought after trainer, having classes in Scalp color theory, machine and manual eyebrows and SMP/Tricopigmentation. Taryn was recognized at the Scalp Guru Meeting of the minds with an award for Outstanding Contribution to the SMP Industry as well as giving an expert presentation to industry colleagues on Color Theory and the difference between organic and inorganic pigments/inks. Taryn continues to further her education taking several classes and attending various conventions every year. She is an active member of the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals and the American Academy of Micropigmentation.
