About Tamara Harris, Aesthetician Specialist
Tamara Harris is the owner of Plucked and More, a day spa in the Heights, that recently received a proclamation from the city of Houston recognizing her business as the first black owned day spa in the Heights. June 19th “Juneteenth” – the day of liberation – is honored as Plucked and More Day in the city. As a business owner of 7 years, she describes her company as a ministry that cultivates an environment that fosters team work, leadership, intimacy, and transparency. She has built strong relationships with her clients and staff, that surpass professional status, and have been upgraded to the title of family and friends. Tamara sees self care, self love, and/or the lack thereof, on a daily basis. The journey to self care is one full of aha moments, self awareness, and self evaluation.
