About Susan Zoltan
Dr. Susan Zoltan was born and raised here in New York City. Dr. Zoltan is currently a clinical instructor at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where she specializes in ophthalmic and oculofacial surgery and is actively involved in teaching residents and students. Previously engaged in private practice, Dr. Zoltan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise, especially in the field of aesthetic and reconstructive facial plastic surgery. A graduate of Columbia University, Dr. Zoltan completed her medical school and ophthalmology residency at SUNY Downstate before undertaking her fellowship in ophthalmic, plastic, and reconstructive surgery at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. The recipient of many awards and accolades, including the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha award, she has been recognized by her peers for her outstanding achievements in her field of specialty. As a board-certified surgeon, Dr. Zoltan is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, New York Facial Plastic Surgery Society and the American College of Surgeons. She is also a member of the New York Facial Plastic Surgery Society and the New York Ophthalmological Society. Dr. Zoltan’s approach to patient care is based on a deep sense of compassion and ethics. While striving to always provide the latest techniques and technologies to her patients, she is also deeply mindful of the need to tailor her treatment to every individual. Dr. Zoltan lives in New York with her husband and children. A multi-linguist, she is fluent in Yiddish, Hebrew, Russian, Ukrainian, and Spanish. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and volunteering at her children’s school
