About Stuart Israel
I was born in Los Angeles, and have lived in Chicago and Galveston. I’ve wanted to be a physician since I was a kid, and first became interested in dermatology through my own personal encounters with our family dermatologist as a child. I’ve been married since 1986. My wife is trained as a social worker, but occupies much of her time through our temple and through community organizing. We have two children in their 20s—one in graduate school and one in college. I enjoy traveling, hiking, playing tennis.
