About Steven A. Kolenik, MD
Steven A. Kolenik III, MD, graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Pennsylvania. He received his doctorate from the Yale School of Medicine, where he remained for his post-graduate training in dermatology. He was appointed chief resident in dermatology and also completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery. Dr. Kolenik is board certified in dermatology and is a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery. He has performed over 23,000 Mohs surgery procedures. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the Connecticut State Medical Society, and the Fairfield County Medical Society. Dr. Kolenik has served as both the secretary and president of the Connecticut State Medical Society, Section of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. He was also an assistant clinical professor of dermatology for 20 years at the Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Kolenik has been included in many top doctor lists, including the Westport Magazine and Greenwich Magazine, and has been a Connecticut Magazine and Castle Connolly Guide Top Doc for over 10 years.
