About Stephen M. Rouse, MD
Dr. Rouse received his B.A., cum laude from Amherst College and M.D. from The University of Rochester School of Medicine. He completed his post-graduate surgical training at St. Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital and Otolaryngology training in a combined program with Tufts New England Medical Center, Boston University's Hospital, and The Lahey Clinic. After residency, he completed a preceptorship in facial plastic surgery with Richard Webster, M.D. while in Boston. Dr. Rouse is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, a Fellow of The American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and has attending staff privileges at Windham and Backus Hospitals. Dr. Rouse has been recognized as a Top Doc by Connecticut Magazine four years in a row. Dr. Rouse and his wife Robin have lived in the Windham area for over 30 years. They have two grown children who attended public and private regional schools.
