About Stephanie Badalamenti, MD
Stephanie Badalamenti, MD, PhD, also previously known as Dr. Silos, has more than 12 years' experience in general dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers. Her expertise includes pediatric, adolescent, and adult dermatology. In addition to her position at Summit Medical Group, Dr. Badalamenti is Assistant Attending Dermatologist at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. Dr. Badalementi's outstanding training and work with esteemed dermatologists from all over the world allow her to successfully treat a wide range of complex dermatology cases. She is one of few physicians in New Jersey to achieve the status of Meaningful Use, a national government initiative to improve health care. In addition, Dr. Badalamenti has participated in the Physician Quality Reporting System since its inception. She has focused on advanced technology to enhance quality and services to her patients. Before joining Summit Medical Group, Dr. Badalamenti practiced privately in West Orange, New Jersey. She has delivered local, regional, national, and international invited presentations in her field. She is the author and coauthor of abstracts, articles, and book chapters concerning topics in dermatology, which are published in prestigious, peer-reviewed scientific journals. In addition, she is a contributing author for Comprehensive Dermatologic Drug Therapy, the gold standard textbook for dermatologic treatment. She is listed in Castle Connolly's ""Top Doctors"" and has been featured in New Jersey Monthly ""Top Doctors"" listings. Dr. Badalamenti’s inspiration to practice dermatology came from her desire to provide the most advanced medical dermatology in a welcoming, patient-centered environment. Treating each patient as she would treat a family member, she is committed to providing a lifetime of solutions for her patients' dermatologic issues. To her credit, Dr. Badalamenti volunteers with the YMCA, Jewish Family Services, Essex County Youth Symphony, West Orange Public Schools, and Nikhil Badlani Foundation. She has run 5K races for charitable events. When she is not with her patients, Dr. Badalamenti enjoys reading about world history. She is an avid cook who particularly enjoys cooking vegan meals.
