About Stanley R. Harla, DO
Dr. S. Robert Harla, a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, entered the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in August 1987. Before medical school, he taught Respiratory Therapy Technology for seven years at El Centro College in Dallas, Texas, during which time he also earned a Master of Arts degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Harla graduated with honors from TCOM in 1991. He completed his internship and residency at Dallas Family Hospital from 1991-1995 and received his board certification in Dermatology in November 1995. He worked at the Duncanville Dermatology Clinic from 1995 until the spring of 1997 when he transitioned into his own practice in Grapevine, Texas. In November 2010, Dr. Harla was named Director of the Dermatology Residency Program for the UNTHSC-TCOM (University of North Texas Health Science Center -Texas College Osteopathic Medicine) of Fort Worth. Dr. Harla joined Tru-Skin Dermatology in 2016. He is married with two grown sons.
