About Stacy Chimento, MD
Dr. Stacy Chimento is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Miami. She graduated top of her class from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Honor Society. Dr Chimento interned in Internal Medicine at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL, and completed her dermatology residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, as Chief Resident. Dr. Chimento was the recipient of The James Battan Most Compassionate Patient Care Award and The Outstanding Resident Research Award in 2012. Dr. Chimento completed numerous research studies with the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery and was published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, Contact Dermatitis Society, and the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology. Society memberships include the American Society of Mohs Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology, and the Womens Dermatologic Society. Dr. Chimento is board certified in Dermatology and is highly trained in general medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology with an interest and expertise in acne treatment, rosacea, and hair disorders.
