Professional Statement

Dr. Sooji Kim completed her undergraduate studies in Economics at SUNY Stony Brook University, at Stony Brook, New York. Dr. Sooji Kim received her doctorate from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2013. Dr. Kim’s residency training as Chief Resident was completed at Bellevue Hospital including Jacobi Medical Center, North Central Bronx Hospital, Woodhull Medical Center and Gouverneur Health Medical Center, where she received extensive training in all facets of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. Upon postgraduate residency completion, Dr. Kim was given faculty status as Attending Physician at the Podiatric Residency and Wound Care Program at Bellevue Hospital, St. Barnabas Bronx Hospital and South Nassau Community Hospital. Dr. Kim is responsible for inpatient and outpatient care, as well as all facets of medical and surgical training of the podiatric residents at the Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine.
